All hunters must possess a valid Kansas hunting license, necessary game tags, as well as firearms and ammunition appropriate to the game being hunted. These items are not provided by MGD and costs are not included in your hunt fee.

FALL TURKEY Units 1, 2, and 3 and game tags for Unit 2 may be purchased over the counter at any license vendor from July 19 through Jan. 30, 2011. No permits authorized in Unit 4. Shooting Hours: One-half hour before sunrise to sunset. Legal Equipment: Shotguns 20 gauge or larger using shot sizes 2-9; long, recurve or compound bows. Limit: Each hunter may obtain no more than one turkey permit and three turkey game tags. Residents and Nonresidents who purchase a turkey permit may also purchase as many as three turkey game tags valid in Unit 2 only. Fall turkey permits and game tags are valid for both male and female turkeys.

Morris Guided Hunts’ packages include access to private land, field transportation with pickup and return to MGD Farmhouse lodging accommodation, tailgate lunch, and each member of the hunting party will receive complimentary photos of your deer.

Hunters are responsible for having a valid Kansas Hunters License, required game tags, firearms, and ammunition appropriate for your type of hunt.

Bobwhite quail or ringed-neck pheasant and combo hunts offered.  Individuals or groups (up to 6 people) of all ages welcome.  All hunters/participants must wear blaze orange, possess valid licenses, and firearms and ammunition appropriate to hunt.

Access to 1,000 acres of private land, field transportation with pickup and return to your lodging accommodation, tailgate lunch, use of Morris Gun Dogs hunting companions (or bring your own), and a complimentary video of the hunt for each member of your hunting party.
